Juvenile Court

In Georgia, Juvenile Court is an umbrella for dependency, delinquency, and CHINS. Dependency includes DFCS and private non-DFCS custody cases. Delinquency covers children 16 and under charged with a crime. CHINS is a name for cases where a child is in need of services but whose case does not rise to the level of DFCS involvement.

Attorneys experienced in juvenile court are critical to obtaining the best possible outcomes in this specialized area of law. Nancee has worked at child advocate, parent attorney, and guardian ad litem in juvenile courts across North Georgia. She has the expertise to guide you to the most beneficial outcomes and advise you about the pitfalls of options that may not be the best options.
